I want to make sure that I am clear on a few things. With all the posting I do about how broken our government is, it can be perceived that I am anti-government. This could not be further from the truth.
I am a Constitutionalist and want our government to follow the framework set forth by our founding fathers. The Constitution of the United States of America is/was a great idea that put forth the framework to allow the people to govern themselves. It sets the responsibilities and boundaries of our government as well as aiding in protecting the people from a large and overreaching tyrannical government.
I do not want our government to be dismantled or destroyed. I only want our government to follow the framework put forth by our founding fathers in the greatest document ever conceived, the Constitution of the United States of America. In order to accomplish this, we the people need to stand up for our rights and push our political figures into upholding and following the Constitution. We the people are responsible for correcting problems with or within our government. We cannot sit back and expect the government officials that created the problem to fix the problem.
When speaking on this, it may appear that I am against our government. This is absolutely false. I am only pointing out what is broken and suggesting methods for the people to fix the issues. I love the USA, I do not want to change our country like the current administration does, I want to restore our country to the greatness it once had.
