D.C. Abortion Fund (DCAF) Offers Coat-Hanger Pendant To Donors

DC Abortion Fund offers coat hanger pendant to monthly donorsForget a heart or a cross pendant — the DC Abortion Fund has a new charm sure to make the ladies go wild.

DCAF, a nonprofit organization that offers funding to women who cannot afford the full cost of an abortion, is raising money for its cause by offering donors who give $10 a month or more a coat hanger pendant, “as a token of our thanks.”

The coat hanger is a symbol of dangerous, illegal abortions, which activists argue will happen in droves and kill women if abortion is illegal.

DCAF explains on its donation page.

“Donors who sign up to give $10/month or more will receive a DCAF coat hanger necklace as our way to say thank you. To join as a monthly sustainer and receive your pendant, visit our online donation page today and in the dedication box, type in ‘Coat Hanger,’”

“The coat hanger is a reminder of women’s suffering when abortion is placed out of reach. It is a promise from reproductive justice advocates to never go back to the grotesque world our anti-choice opponents are striving for: a world WITHOUT safe access to abortion, where women might have to resort to horrific alternatives like a coat hanger. That’s why our supporters love the pendants and wear them as a point of pride.”

“The coat hanger is a symbol of the reproductive justice movement because lack of access to abortion causes women to go to desperate lengths to terminate a pregnancy, similar to those undertaken in the pre-Roe vs Wade era. At that time, consuming Lysol and household poisons was not uncommon to instigate abortion. Nor was inserting knitting needles, Coke bottles, and – yes – wire coat hangers into their cervices.”

When I saw this, I thought it was some sort of extremely sick joke but unfortunately all leads have pointed to legitimate sources. I visited DCAF to find, in much disbelief, that the pendant is actually being offered for a monthly donation of “$10.00 a Month or more” as a way of saying “Thanks”. I am sick to my stomach and having a hard time absorbing what I have read. I did research upon research just knowing that this is some sort of sick joke to find that it is 100% legitimate.

We in the USA should be appalled by the offering of a coat-hanger pendant necklace, what’s next a fetus ring or spinalcord braclet? WTF!!!!! I just want to lay back and cry with the thought of the millions of un-born children murdered every year, but this is not in my nature. Instead I will fight this utterly sick and self absorbent group of liberal progressive with every ounce of strength and soul that I can muster.

Stay tuned for “The Free Republics” TAKE ACTION! where I will provided methods for ousting this horrifying promotion.

A Note From The Author:
Normally I would provide links to the facts, sites and sources but in this case I will not be providing links. I do not wish to drive anymore traffic to the sources. If you wish to verify the information provided within the article please try Google, Bing or Yahoo. They will pull up enough information to confirm the story above.

I would also like to say that I do understand the symbolism of the hanger and its uses during a time when abortion was none existent. Giving this pendant out as a reward for monthly support of an organization that firmly believes in abortion as a means to birth control is just down right disgusting and corrupts the symbolism. I do not or will not condone abortion as a form of birth control. We have known for ages the effects of unprotected sexual intercourse. If there is any question as to my stance, I am Pro-Life. I do believe that abortion should not be removed from the table as a whole. If circumstances warrant, and abortion be needed for situations such as death or deformity then choice comes into play.

Thank you,
