The Benghazi Transcripts: Top Defense officials briefed Obama on ‘attack,’ not video or protest

Minutes after the American consulate in Benghazi came under assault on Sept. 11, 2012, the nation’s top civilian and uniformed defense officials — headed for a previously scheduled Oval Office session with President Obama — were informed that the event was a “terrorist attack,” declassified documents show. The new evidence raises the question of why the top military men, one of whom was a member of the president’s Cabinet, allowed him and other senior Obama…

ObamaCare Time Bomb: 50 to 100 Million Insurance Cancellations to Hit Next Fall

A new and independent analysis of ObamaCare warns of a ticking time bomb, predicting a second wave of 50 million to 100 million insurance policy cancellations next fall — right before the mid-term elections. The next round of cancellations and premium hikes is expected to hit employees, particularly of small businesses. While the administration has tried to downplay the cancellation notices hitting policyholders on the individual market by noting they represent a relatively small fraction…

A Politicaly Charged Short Story of Fictitioustruth

This is a short story that attempts to reveals the dangers and powers granted to our current US government. While taking a look at US agencies, laws, acts and executive orders I came to the realization that our Government’s power has grown dangerously beyond what original was intended. What I discovered was disturbing to say the least. I decided to write a scenario that shows the potential for a corrupt government to seize control of…

Supreme Court blocks Arizona’s 20-week abortion ban

The Supreme Court on Monday blocked Arizona from enforcing a ban on most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, in the latest blow for states that have tried to enact strict abortion laws. The high court declined to hear an appeal from Arizona, leaving in place a prior ruling from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that determined the law was unconstitutional. The Supreme Court decision effectively strikes down the law. Gov. Jan Brewer…

Former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell pushed back at CNN’s Jake Tapper after the host suggested in an interview that the “lone survivor’s” fellow veterans died for nothing. “One of the emotions that I felt, while watching the film is first of all the hopelessness of the situation — how horrific it was and also just all that loss of life of these brave American men,” Tapper said in an interview that aired Friday. “And I…

What Happens When a Ventriloquist Tries to Pick Up Girls on the Subway?

To break up the monotony of the serious articles that I normally post, I decided to share a video that a friend of mine posted on her Facebook, “It can be seen [HERE]“.  The post went over pretty good so here is another. Breaking the ice with a laugh to ask for a girl’s phone number is not an unusual approach, but doing it with a ventriloquist dummy, however, is. Nigel “Docta Gel” Dunkley, an actor, comedian and, yes, ventriloquist,…

Things are looking up for gun owners in Illinois.  On Monday, as some 4,500 concealed carry applications flooded the state’s online portal on its first full day of operation, Obama-appointed U.S. District Judge Edmond E. Chang of the Northern District of Illinois issued a significant opinion that invalidated Chicago’s ban on firearm sales and transfers within the city. The suit was brought by the Illinois Association of Firearms Retailers and three individuals, with the backing…
